The Wave – 25m Pool

These timetables will be running between:
Monday 12th – Sunday 18th February 2024

Enjoy swimming in our stunning 25m lane only pool at The Wave. With 4 lanes available, these are available all day, every day, with 2 hours free parking. Just type your registration at reception as you leave.

Please note: The pool is dedicated for lane only swimming, and is open to the public and Lifestyles members. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Lifestyles members can access the pool for free as part of their membership package. Please bear in mind that this pool is for lane only swimming so you will need to be able to swim unaided.

Swimming provides a great all-round workout by moving your whole body against the natural resistance of the water. It is an ideal physical activity for fitness and to stay healthy which is suitable for all ages.

Mondays 6:30am - 9:00pm (Closed on 25th December and 1st January)
Tuesdays 6:30am - 9:00pm (Closed on 26th December)
Wednesdays 6:30am - 9:00pm (9:00am - 6:00pm on 27th December)
Thursdays 6:30am - 9:00pm (9:00am - 6:00pm on 28th December)
Fridays 6:30am - 8:00pm (9:00am - 6:00pm on 29th December)
Saturdays 9:00am - 6:00pm
Sundays 9:00am - 6:00pm (Closed on 24th and 31st December)
Notes:

Please note: Pool deep cleaning takes place 1:00pm to 2:00pm During this times the Pool will be closed. (1) The whole pool may not be available during all sessions. (2) Must be a confident swimmer and be able to swim continuous laps. (3) Deep water only. (4) Male staff may be on duty during Ladies only sessions. (½) Half pool is used. ( ¼ ) One Quarter pool is used. *This session may be cancelled due to a party booking. Please check the website for further details.

  • All places are on a first come first served basis, bands will only be released 5 minutes prior the session.
  • On Bank Holiday, swim times may change.
  • The Foundation does not provide any flotation aids during public swimming sessions. Armbands can be purchased at Reception.
